updated june 2023
Before You Start
Whether you’re a sales associate or a broker, you need to renew your real estate license every two years. The renewal deadline is always either midnight on March 31 or midnight on September 3. If you do not renew by the deadline, you will be required to undergo all of the pre-licensing steps before you can act as an agent again.

Brokers: 60 hours

Step 3. Link your current license to your account.
To access the DBPR’s online services, which include license renewals, applications, and license status tracking, you must link your current license to it.
View the DBPR’s official instructions on linking a license here.
Step 4.Use the DBPR's online portal to renew your license.
